Description

The Cowen Cappings Spinner is a simple solution for separating the honey from wax cappings.  Cappings  are loaded into a spinning perforated reel via the wax cappings auger (sold separately). The size of the  cowen auger is matched to the capacity of the spinner so once the auger is full it can be turned on and once it is empty you shut the auger off.  It takes approximately 15 minutes to uncap enough frames to fill the auger again, which is also the amount of time required to dry the cappings so that you know once the auger is full again it is time to unload the dry wax from the spinner.  This is done with the knife built into the spinner and the dry capping fall down a chute and into a barrel.
