Description

The Cowen 3” progressive cavity pump is for pumping a slurry of wax and honey.  It includes a stainless steel stand and 2hp variable frequency AC drive.  The pump can be used with a float switch or with an optional automatic level sensor ($1500).  The advantage of the auto level sensor is that the pump never stops during operation, rather it speeds up and slows down according to the level so that if you are pumping through a heat exchanger the honey is never sitting still in it.  Spin floats are also known to operate more smoothly when a constant flow is provided to them.  It is recommended that the auto level sensor be added at the time that the pump is purchased.

The power requirement for this pump is 220v 1ph 20a
